QUICK SUMMARY OF THE EVENT

Everybody laughed as they talked about their best and worst publishing experiences. People were instructed on the best way to find a publisher and agent - "find a book similar to yours and see who published it.", and web searches; also how to approach an agent and a publisher.

If you self publisher or have a publisher the importance of DIY promotions was told; and people told how they promoted their various publications and other great promotion idea they have seen.
Talk about knowing as much as you can/ to was about the printing specs and run of your book -was discussed.

The audience was given direct help on their projects and everyone hung and chatted after the workshop.
