It was hot as hell, so we sat out side of the theater in the gallery near the fan. It was a small group we all sat in a circle. There was a lively discussion about how to find films, promote your festival, the lack of good usable and affordable theater space in the Bay Area, and how to fund your festival. There was some Discussions about alternative theater space, micro cinemas, and if you screen outside what you need to do. Also, such topics as film making and when or if you pay to screen a film were covered.

Sitting in the circle, gave me the idea of doing the workshops as salons in restaurants next year.
